GO AHEAD, SNOOP AROUND...

Legacy

A beautiful goodbye.

Photos for pets about to embark on their Rainbow Bridge Journey.

Frequently asked questions

I prioritize your pet's comfort and ethics over images, always.

However, if you are waiting for the appointment with your veterinarian, I am able and willing to work with you (even if your pet is bed-bound).

Please get in touch with me ASAP so we can look at scheduling.

MY PET IS VERY SICK. DO WE HAVE TIME?

06

01

Absolutely, I encourage it! The relationship that you have with your pet is the most important thing. These images are a celebration of that connection.

Come as you are. It's ok to be sad, scared, or even angry. I'm here to support you.

CAN WE BE IN THE PHOTOS?

If your pet is still able to do their favorite things, this is the perfect time to schedule a legacy photo session.

I would be honored to join you as you visit Starbucks for a pup-accino, spend the afternoon at the park, or visit your favorite dog-friendly restaurant.

CAN WE DO MY PET'S FAVORITE THINGS?

06

03

As much as I would love to offer these sessions for free, this is my job and unfortunately, it costs money and time to run a business.

Legacy pet sessions are offered at a discount, and I promise it's worth the investment.

WHY DON'T YOU DO THIS FOR FREE?

06

04

That's ok! I do not judge.

Is your pet loved and cared for? Great. I will photograph your pet in their home environment with compassion and empathy.

When you are facing THE goodbye, you may not want to clean...and that's ok.

MY HOUSE IS A MESS, THOUGH!

06

05

Yes.

Unlike my regular pet photography sessions, Legacy sessions include the final digital images.

You will receive these images in an online gallery with a digital print release and the option to download the photos in both HIGH and WEB resolution.

These sessions are for terminal pets only.

DO WE GET THE DIGITAL FILES?

The veterinarian that you already see, that you know and trust, is a great place to start. However, many of them do not do in-home euthanasia.

If that is important to you, I highly recommend the following businesses who specialize in this:

One Last Gift
Caring Pathways
Lap of Love

CAN YOU RECOMMEND A EUTHANASIA VETERINARIAN?

kind words

My cat had been with me through so many things, including a divorce. Saying goodbye is one of the hardest things I've ever done. Chris was so helpful in capturing one of his last days with me, and I'll cherish those photos forever.
